Congratulations to Evan Longoria for being selected the AL Player of the Week for the first week of this young season!

Longo hit .481 with five home runs, four doubles and drove in 10 runs last week.  Evan, last year’s AL Rookie of the Year winner, has not shown any indication of a sophomore slump to this point.  His glove has been awesome as well.  He’s beginning to make the hard plays look so easy you expect him to make everything.
